Larry the Cat reappeared on Twitter

Larry is the Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office at 10 Downing Street

He is often critical of politicians, I'd wondered if he'd gotten banned.

He is active on Blue Sky https://bsky.app/profile/number10cat.bsky.social

His return tweet got more than 1,700 responses, 19000 retweets and 18,000 likes in less than 24 hours!

1. Larry had been posting on both platforms, but typically with more posts on X. His first Bluesky posts during his "nap" -

I use X.com to see local stuff since the use of X seems to have stuck with the local schools, public safety, government etc. There is a lot of inertia in these entities.

Anyhow, my interest is that he had a response to one post that any wannabe influencer and even some established ones would be envious to have.

Good ole Larry.

3. My main reason for checking X these days is that some artists and AI experts I know there either

don't have Bluesky accounts at all, or post much less on Bluesky than on X. Probably because they can reach many more people on X. Larry, for instance, has nearly 7 times as many followers on X as on Bluesky, and he usually posts more messages on X.

He posted this tweet about Musk on X early last month:

Nearly half a million views, 22K likes, 3.6K reposts, 132 replies.

The Bluesky version of that post:

The owner of Twitter is inciting murder, according to the owner of Twitter.

No info on # of views, 1.5K likes, 364 reposts, 40 replies.

15 times as many likes for a post attacking Musk, on the site Musk owns, as on Bluesky.

There are still a lot of liberals on X speaking out against Musk, Trump, Farage and other RWers.
