Riding elephants especially on pavement injures their spine and the elephants are usually chained when not carrying people. I hope the baby has a better future.

I was thinking the same thing when I posted the video.

I wish all elephants were living in large protected outdoor refuges.

Botswana, Kenya, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe are known for their elephant refuges and conservation efforts.
