Canadian A.M. radio station on an amazing 1970 Sears radio
Zoomer Radio (CFZM 740 A.M. on the dial) out of Toronto.

My go to for excellent music programming, old time radio shows, hits from all decades, big bands show, depression era music show, focus on Canadian musicians shows, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young and much more.
CFZM shows what a.m. radio could be, besides a cesspool of right wing hate jocks.
Plus I know the news they broadcast isn't corporate bullshit.
On another note, the name Sears once was a guarantee you were getting something well made that was built to last.
This set was made in Hong Kong. Usually that means junk, but Sears must have demanded quality, and they got it with this radio.
Coverage is amazing, long wave, a.m., f.m. (NPR on as I type), shortwave from 6 mHz through 30 mHz (basically the entire sw spectrum) and VHF aircraft, utilities, and NOAA weather channels. The set even has a BFO switch to listen to single side band military, aircraft and marine stations, and single side band ham radio.
Only bummer is there is no documentation, such as schematic or service manual to guide a restoration, or I would have had it done, although it works on all bands as is.

Used extremely high grade components in their stuff, IIRC.
My console in my late teens was a Magnavox Astro Sonic.
Not anywhere near Stromberg quality, but I too listened to stereo albums on it, Cream Disraeli Gears, Dylan, ELO "On The Third Day" (,which was before they sucked, IMO), and much more.
