Dog alarm

So at 4:00am I finally fell asleep. At 4:30am my dog was going wild barking. It lasted a few minutes. I didn't get up, he seemed to have the situation under control.

So this morning I looked at my ring camera history. At 4:30am there was an Amazon guy delivering a package to my neighbor. I played it and heard all the barking again.

My dog came over to my computer to hear himself and I told him he was a good boy.

I don't know why Amazon delivers at 4:30am.

3. I too worry about shithole gun owners who shoot first and ask later. These Amazon guys wear bright vests

in my neighborhood (I'm always out pre-dawn with my dog) and I try to look out for them a bit.

I'd definitely testify against any a'hole who threatened them. INDEFENSIBLE!

and other obstacles--maybe including intense heat on vehicles difficult to cool.

But he did exactly what he was supposed to do.

He sleeps wherever he wants. One of his favorite spots is on the tile floor in front of the front door. Its nice and cool. So there is no way he's going to miss anything going on outside.

Even if someone were planning to break in, I'm sure they would change their mind as soon as they heard him.

9. That happened to me, too, while I still had Prime.

It was around 3:00 a.m. and I woke up hearing someone coming up my front porch stairs. My dog went crazy. I looked out my bedroom window to see a car (not Amazon truck). There were two people in the car and they drove off before I got downstairs. When I peeked out my front door I saw an Amazon package. I think Amazon must contract out to regular people to make deliveries. Anyway, I don't remember what it was that was delivered, although I know I sure didn't need it 3:00 a.m.

10. My neighbor (whose package it was) also has a dog.

But I never heard a peep out of her. She's very mellow.

In the ring video the delivery guy had a uniform on. I think that's probably a good idea if you're going up to people's homes in the middle of the night.

I sometimes get deliveries before 8am - that's early enough.
