Our journalists reach out to people they’re writing about to ensure fairness. But in this environment, they’ve found their efforts to do so are more likely to be vilified than appreciated.

But now they aren’t respected, called names and told what is and is not permissible to report. BS.
This is what dictators do and if they haven’t figured that out yet, they could interview their readers and we’d be glad to help with the red flags.
