Trump Cabinet Members Moving Into Military Housing Amid Wave of Political Violence: Report
Source: Mediaite.com
A number of high-profile members of President Donald Trumps Cabinet have moved onto military bases amid a wave of political violence.
In August, the Washington Post reported that Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem had been living rent-free on a military base in the Washington area. The move, spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said, came as a result of Noem being horribly doxxed and targeted to the point that she was no longer able to safely live in her own apartment.
As noted in the report, the house she moved into at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling is normally reserve for top navy admirals. According to a Thursday report from The Atlantic, Noem isnt the only one. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, and a number of others have made similar moves. The report continued:
"Stephen Miller soon joined a growing list of senior Trump-administration political appointeesat least six by our countliving in Washington-area military housing, where they are shielded not just from potential violence but also from protest. It is an ominous marker of the nations polarization, to which the Trump administration has itself contributed, that some of those top public servants have felt a need to separate themselves from the public. These civilian officials can now depend on the U.S. military to augment their personal security. But so many have made the move that they are now straining the availability of housing for the nations top uniformed officers."

(12,241 posts)I guarantee it's not the lap of luxury.
I've lived in officer's quarters. The Admiral's, or General's in this case, are the nicest houses but they are certainly not what I would call luxury.
More like an antique bunker with maid service. Many of them have historical significance.....so something else for MAGAt to bulldozer and demolish.
What these hated people are doing is hiding from the public because so many people hate them. Puppy killer Kristi probably also has MAGAts hunting for her because she's a woman. The only one to die in the Nazi march in Charlottesville was a White Woman.
Just because these stupid women side with Nazis, that want to take away their voting rights, doesn't mean the Nazis don't hate them as much as any other woman. Nazis don't protect their own.

(77,043 posts)In some ramshackle housing that you would not even believe if I told you.
But in terms of the MAGA Gestapo elite,
we are not talking normal junior or even mid level officer housing.
In back water hell and gone locations.
We are talking top of the line general/admiral housing.
In Washington DC!
It is top of the line housing compared to how most Americans live.
And it is certain the housing was renovated along with the private jet
acquisitions, and huge expense accounts.
Top of the line travel, healthcare, staff, servants, clothing, etc.
Suitable for high ranking govt officials.

(16,386 posts)it sounds like Been A Dick Donald's loyal toadies are being moved into safe places, much like when there's a nuclear threat, essential govt workers are moved into a shelter, to preserve the continuity of govt..
Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that he's going to drop a nuke or 2 on American cities, but this could be a prelude to him enacting the Insurrection Act and deploy the military onto American cities and streets in massive numbers.
I'm probably letting my imagination run wild, but with this lunatic and his toadies at the reins of power, I wouldn't put anything past him.

(851 posts)I don't know about a nuke........but feel he initially had a definite reason for bringing a whole slew of National Guard, ICE, US Military, FBI, ATF, Border Patrol, Proud Boys, Secret Service, etc all together, in massive numbers, to swarm all over DC, and has had them continue to do so. On standby to protect those responsible for the attempted over throw....including most of all his Fat Ass.?????????
He is now taking major steps to bring his domain, from Mar-a-gago to the DC White House, and preparing it as his new "fortress" and supreme grift of all time.
He saw what HIS J6 crowd of just 5,000 Trumphumpers did to the Capitol, and was worried that a massive group of protestors to his attempted tyranny could easily over run the White House, and the Republicans in the Senate, and Republicans in the House, as well as the Republican Supreme Court.
As well as his entire cabinet, advisors, vamps, etc that have quite literally "infested" Washington DC and our Democratic Government......
Remember that he declared the entire Mexico/U.S. border strip a "Military Base" so that he could use the U.S. Military down there.......he could use that as a precedent to make the entire Washington D.C. area a military base, with an overwhelming number of U.S. Military to protect his entire administration from a Civilian Citizen Uprising.........

(193,654 posts)Stephen Miller Lists $3.7M Home a Month After Protesters Chalked Outside
Protesters have coordinated drawing chalk messages outside Miller's home on at least two occasions.
In September, the group Arlington Neighbors United said in an Instagram post that protesters used their First Amendment rights to chalk over 50 thoughtful, peaceful messages. Many called for Stephen Miller to end his inhumane policies towards our immigrant and LGBTQIA+ neighbors and to uphold American democratic values.
Shortly afterward, Katie Miller posted a video washing off the messages on X, writing, To the Tolerant Left who spent the day trying to intimidate us in the house where we have three young children: We will not back down.

Whose doxxers had gone quite insane.
To Bolling she fled,
In admirals stead,
Now rent-free, she shelters her name.
When Noem took her post by the bay,
The admirals had less to say.
For one by one more,
From Trumps rosters core,
Moved in where the Navy should stay.
Said Miller, Ill bunk with the brass
Protesters can kiss the gate pass!
In quarters secure,
He sleeps, thats for sure,
While the sailors are left out en masse.
Now Rubios in camouflage halls,
Safe behind government walls.
Their freedoms confined,
By fear intertwined
A symptom of how the world stalls.
They sought to defend libertys claim,
Yet hide where the uniforms came.
With politics hot,
And safety theyve got,
The line tween the roles isnt the same.
When leaders retreat from the crowd,
The silence grows heavy and loud.
A fortress of might,
Now shields them from sight
A mirror of times unavowed.

I'll say again, Anacostia is not the part of town most of the cabinetistas would choose to live.
If you've never been on or worked at military base, the buildings are functional, but old and upgrades/new construction is rare. Of course there's more frequent office tech and furniture upgrades, but it's certainly not what you'd find in a commercial office building. I got to go to the Pentagon once and it was disappointing to say the least. I'm sure the center executive offices were very nice, but otherwise, it was lots of drab, cookie cutter offices. But there is a food court and retail shops inside, too.

(70 posts)Take into account the behavior of this administration and those who support it:
*There are no rules
*They believe themselves to be the rightful heirs of the country alone
With that in mind:
*They would only live in the best of accommodations temporarily on base while their preferred homes are constructed to their tastes and expectations (see Kristi Noem's DHS jet acquisition). Brand-spanking new.
*As more join, this will all have the appearance of a gated neighborhood or compound.
*Since a military base is not the most choice place to reside, expect them to advance this to prime real estate nowhere near any military base, but will be so designated to keep everyone out and under federal protection.
*They won't pay a fucking dime for it. We will. Invite only and fuck the rest of you.
*Good luck trying to root them out
My theory: Imagine the worst of corruption and power and then let your mind go wild. They will fucking do it.
Dog-ear this. It will advance quickly.
