"Facially Insane"

I’m a broken record, but it’s facially insane that the SCOTUS’s position is that the interest of a political party—an entity with no special constitutional protection—in gerrymandering is more important than black people’s right to vote, which we have several constitutional amendments addressing

I don't know what better justification for court packing you'll get than a court which has effectively repealed the majority of the 14th and 15th amendments.

Tell your normie friends, because hoi polloi still balk at court packing

they also balk at literally everything that has happened in the last 15 months

Of course those "hoi polloi" will balk at the suggestion of "packing" the Court. It sounds terribly unfair and unethical.

The Court has already been unfairly and unethically packed. The remedy must be to expand and thus unpack the Court.

Biden could’ve done it but I think maybe he foresaw the consequences. Republicans would increase the size exponentially to 40, 50 seats or more and they would stall any appointments.

What stopped Republican Supreme Court justices from handing the 2000 presidential election to their preferred candidate, so that he could go on to appoint still more radical right-wing justices?

What stopped Republicans from denying President Obama his Supreme Court nomination on the specious grounds that there were only ten months left in his term, and then later rushing through a nominee of Trump's just a few scant weeks before the election, with voting already underway?

What has stopped the right-wing radicals on the Court from overturning settled law that they simply don't like? From overturning Roe v. Wade? From gutting the Voting Rights Act? From essentially legalizing bribery? From granting the president virtual carte blanche to commit crimes while in office?

One could go on and on, but I'm sure the point is clear: there is no abuse of power that the modern Republican party is unwilling to commit, and there is never a need for them to point to Democrats saying, "Well they started it!".

Justice matters.

It's like age-old software that has not been upgraded in decades.

It's like irresponsible to leave it vulnerable to the Guardians Of Pedophiles party henchmen.

justices to the court, create an amendment to limit the number to the number of districts. Specify in the amendment the number of districts so future administrations do not create new districts in order to add new justices.

They either didn’t care or were too trusting. We need them. And we needed the 30% of black men who voted for the turd. If this doesn’t motivate them, nothing will.

1- it's not needed at the moment: They made him "immune" of any "official act" accountability so he can invoke "national security" to justify every lawless act he thinks of doing without any fear.

2- it would give the Dems an obvious attack line in their campaigns to regain control of at least the House.

Likelihood of Republicans buying-off Thomas and Alito to retire so they can be replaced by His Arrogance’s parking-lot lawyers.
Cannon has done him some solids and kinda looks like his type, and Habba-Dabba-Do, too.
Look for it before 2028.
