How about we start with fixing this.

The rights of men don’t change when they cross State lines. Women’s do.

Unacceptable. Never stop fighting.

Signed.

Women's rights in the US are highly fragmented across state lines, with significant disparities in reproductive autonomy, legal protections, and bodily autonomy. As of 2026, abortion is protected in 25+ states, while at least 26 states and territories are hostile to it. Key rights, including reproductive freedom, child marriage prohibitions, and protection from gender-based discrimination, vary heavily by region.

Otherwise, they want a 'strong ruler' (singular, of course).

When the federal government came in with forced integration of schools, forced bussing of students, etc. those states screamed about "STATES' RIGHTS!" like it was the only thing that mattered.

but I didn't endorse it as always a good thing, just that repukes love screaming about it but now they seem comfortable with "big gubmint" - it's just more of their usual hypocrisy

If it were all the same, we would just have NO rights. Hopefully, with a Democratic administration and a Democratic congress, we can fix that, though.

or they fine or imprison a women who had a so called illegal abortion, or any other penalty they levy on the women, then put the same fine and jail sentence on the man who caused the pregnancy. If she goes to jail, then he should go also for the same amount of time or pay the identical fine.

I am not an attorney but it seems to me that this is a violation of the equal protection principle.

Also, if something equivalent is legal for a man, then it should be legal for a woman.
