Almost within the same week we heard that Zelenskyy was going to help Trump out in the Middle East with drones, since apparently, Ukraine has the most advanced warfare drones.
Second, the Trump sons are going into the drone business.
I'm wondering if our government is breaking down the technology for those drones they receive from Ukraine, and if the Trump sons are benefitting by improperly receiving those blue prints so their company can cut corners and use the technology?

(132,149 posts)Canada had one of the most advanced fighter jets in the world in the 1950s. The US helped us trash the whole program. Our government said they were too expensive. The lead developers, engineers, spent the rest of their careers at NASA. Every example of the Avro Arrow was destroyed. Nothing left for a museum even except a nosecone that was secreted out of the plant and hidden.

Look for speedy immigration to the USA of Ukraine's most adept drone engineers. There is no way the US is going to not get the most advanced technology in the world. Especially from an allie.

But at 7:05 AM Monday Trump called the whole thing off for five days, he said, but many people are assuming that the threatened action, which would have been a massive war crime, is now off the table.
The reason for the about-face, he claimed, was that the U.S. was engaged in productive negotiations with Iranian officials although this seems to have come as news to the Iranians, who denied that any such negotiations are taking place. Sad to say, in this case, as I tried to explain yesterday, the fanatical, brutal Iranian regime is more credible than the president of the United States. Is he lying or living in a fantasy world? Neither possibility is comforting.
But in any case, Trumps sudden climb-down was startling. Who could have seen this coming? The answer is, the person or people who bought large quantities of stock market futures and sold large quantities of oil futures around 15 minutes before Trumps announcement.
