Tipster breaks into Epstein ranch and hands Dem lawmakers explosive evidence: report

Truth or fiction? Where Trump or Epstein are concerned, difficult to tell.

Tipster breaks into Epstein ranch and hands Dem lawmakers explosive evidence: report - Rawstory via MSN

Two Democratic state lawmakers from New Mexico were handed an explosive collection of evidence related to Jeffrey Epstein last month from an individual who claimed to have broken into the disgraced financier’s infamous Zorro Ranch, New Mexico Justice Department files obtained by Al Jazeera revealed on Tuesday.

The speculation surrounding the property, coupled with the lack of law enforcement investigations into the complex, apparently drove one individual to take matters into their own hands. In an email to New Mexico Democratic state Reps. Andrea Romero and Marianna Anaya, the person claimed had "orchestrated a break-in” at the property — and they shared their disturbing findings.

“In the summer of 2020, I orchestrated a break-in at the El Zorro property. I realize this might be illegal, but men like that don’t deserve the protection of the law,” the individual wrote in a Feb. 16 email along with photographs they allegedly took on the property. They left their name redacted.

“We believe that they removed the bodies as there were multiple shallow grave-like plots that were dug up. In the White Yurt, they must have been doing rituals where they felt like they needed a defibrillator. In the files the Yurt is mentioned, as well as how to clean it.”

A member of the public claims to have seen “grave-like plots” at Jeffrey Epstein’s former ranch in New Mexico and has shared photos of the purported burial sites with lawmakers investigating the late American sex offender.

The tipster shared the images with the two state lawmakers last month amid renewed scrutiny of Epstein’s activities at the Zorro Ranch.

Investigators should pursue it, but don’t trust the info unless fully verified.

...even if true, this "evidence" is tainted by being illegally obtained. So such revelations may be interesting but inadmissible in any future trials.

I'm no lawyer but I've heard of a legal doctrine called "clean hands" which basically says that evidence obtained by theft or fraudulent means may be suppressed by a motion of the defense as illegally obtained so it may not be presented in court as valid evidence by the prosecution. I don't know of any exceptions to this rule. Perhaps there might be one in cases involving sexual abuse of minors.

It says that evidence that was subsequently developed is inadmissible if it would not have been exposed, but for the illegally obtained evidence.

All of this begs the question why law enforcement never investigated any of this. This spans decades and many administrations of both parties. And let's not forget that Garland had all of this information and did absolutely nothing.

The fact that such a massive criminal enterprise could go on for 30 years without any enforcement (other than slaps on the wrist to Epstein) begs the question how many other similar things have the rich and powerful been getting away with, while we keep building for-profit prisons to house people selling crack and weed.
