Republican Cash Edge Threatens to Swamp Democrats in the Midterms

For the first time in years, Democrats are sounding the alarm about money problems.

The Republican National Committee began this year with nearly $100 million more than the Democratic National Committee.

The Supreme Court is widely expected to loosen restrictions on party funds in the coming months in a way that could help Republicans take fuller advantage of their fund-raising edge.

President Trump is sitting atop a super PAC with more than $304 million — a huge sum for which there is no Democratic counterweight.

2. I think this will require a huge effort for Dems to get as loud as they can in the media.

Get on as many talk shows as possible, have a unified message that we know will get the attention of people who are feeling real economic pain right now. AND they might just be disturbed by Trump's unstable mind and his alarming pronouncements on foreign policy and soaring cost of living issues. As long as we have an unstable economy and a dangerous foreign policy, our problems won't just go away. We Dems can be the only voice of stability they've got.

regardless of the real name candidates...if red state town halls with angry constituents shouting down representatives are an indication of what's to come, then money means nothing when jobs are scarce, health insurance is unaffordable and grocery prices are out of sight...and they blame the psycho clown occupying the Oval Office and his MAGA congressional enablers..
