Appeal to better angles of Americans

At this point, who has let the USA Down in the battle against Totalitarianism and tRUMP! Feel free to add
1. Republicans in Congress for failing to uphold their oaths of
office.
2. Greedy Billionaires who put influence, power and acquiring more
wealth they really don't need. They bend the knee and pay bribes
for influence.
3. Republican Judges and SCOTUS Justices who turn a bling eye to
the LAW and allow Trump to trample the Constitution.
4. Military who are following illegal orders.
5. Law firms and Educational Institutions who paid off tRUMP with
bribes even though they knew the were wrong doing so,
6. Mainstreet Media, CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC & others who have not,
do not and will not report the TRUTH & continue to fester in
this sewer of LIES. Ask pertinent questions and follow up
against obvious LIES
7. Democrats who continue to vote with Republicans to allow
this whirlpool of sewage to continue, STAND FIRM AGAINST
THIS ATTACK ON America.
8. The Religious Community and I'm emphasizing the Mega-
Churches and phony , so called Pastors who do not really
follow the teaching of Jesus but are CHRISTO Nationalists.
9. And unfortunately some family, friends and acquaintances who
you never expected to have this DARKSIDE in them. Look into
the mirror, it's not too late to admit you were wrong and made
a very bad choice.
Feel free to add to this list our Democracy, is at stake. We
will be celebration 250 years, this summer, Save our Country, Democracy and Constitution!

6. While I applaud the intent of your post...

The last ten years or so have shown us that the better angels of human nature seem to be altogether absent in a frighteningly large chunk of our fellow Americans.

I fear that appealing to the better angels of politicians, media people, and business types is an exercise in futility. They've demonstrated that they're interested in power and wealth and that's about it and that no sacrifice to achieve them is a bridge too far.

Appealing to the better angels of our average fellow Americans might be somewhat effective but for the troubling fact that they already believe they're on the side of the angels. It's a conversation one can have but I wouldn't go into it with high hopes.

I really don't intend this to be a doom and gloom post but this is where we're at as I see it.
