Martial law, lets not give him or ICE agents any ammunition.

(129,632 posts)I mean, WTF? If you actually want to commit the crime and get away with it, just STFU and do it. If you're posting a threat to commit a crime even if you don't really plan to do it, that's a crime, too, and it's really, really stupid.

(13,985 posts)I certainly wouldn't post my plans on social media! I would become a lone sniper, moving from place to place and shooting. However, I'm not skilled enough to do that. I was barely skilled enough to shoot at rats at a local landfill in my college days.

(42,672 posts)They think their Facebook lock and load comments are intimidating. They think their unexamined 2A defenses protect them. They think their on-line targeting and harassment of those who disagree with them is courage. Yet they backpedal on their 2A certainty when one of their own is targeted. They are happy when they thought they were defending gun access, they have no idea how to defend the consequences, so they dont try, just rush into cognitive dissonance and bias confirmation in a kind of mindless panic. The kind where you cannot see, cannot hear anything else.
They cling to the strongman, hoping he will keeping them safe.
Its not new behavior as we know, its the behavior of the frightened.
And I believe that the Trump administration completely understands this. So yeah, I agree. They want political differences to evolve into violence.
