(38,599 posts)...for their jobs
In future, when they all try to figure out why their memoir books aren't selling, maybe someone will explain it to them. Trump is a narcissist, and narcissists surround themselves with incompetent people, so they'll look better.

(112,364 posts)I do kind of hate having the first to go out of a large (almost infinite) group of disgusting, vile possibilities be women. I know, I know... if they deserve it, so be it (and I agree with that)... but, even if they go only days or weeks afterwards, I would like to see one of the most vile men among his ilk go. Since Vance can't be fired (and Miller won't be), I guess it needs to be Kash Patel, Pete Hegseth or RFF Jr. I strongly suspect Hegseth is being neutralized --to the extent that is possible-- by the Pentagon and others in his command, Patel has probably been all but replaced by his co-second-in-command (an apparent qualified career person--not Bongino), so RFK Jr., it is. That is my SHOULD.
Who will it be? Probably Patel.

(105,331 posts)and I don't think MAGA sees him as a "leader" - though I think his personal obsessions and feelings are really mainstream MAGA. But being non-white, I doubt many of them see him as "one of us, representing us in the regime".

(2,480 posts)He's elected and can't be fired, and he has the most to gain. If they are going to turn on him, it'll be a Vance-Rubio-Bessent axis
