7. People don't recognize it because who cares about history, and it gets normaliced by bootlicking media.

Pisses me off. I grew up soon after WWII, like so many, and there were books and magazines all about, with fresh memories.

I read stuff from three services in my grandmother's house.. Learned a bunch about B-17's and the bluejacket manual. I later got one of my own, in PAPERBACK.
