What the press seems to completely miss is that with the republican so-called "big beautiful bill", which

completely excluded Democrats from the conversation, and refused to allow any increased subsidies for the ACA, and Medicaid in the bill, in spite of the significant increase in insurance premiums, WHY would anyone think that the republican party that intentionally excluded that from the big budget bill, now think that if a continuing resolution was agreed upon, these SAME PEOPLE would be willing to now discuss it only if a continuing resolution was passed?

I have NEVER heard such bullshit from the MSM in their framing of the situation.

What is interesting according to the most recent polls, the majority of Americans BLAME the republicans for the shutdown, and that includes independents.

So in spite of the MSM pushing republican misinformation through their outlets, it seems like the American people are way ahead of the MSM on this.

Now that the Big Ugly Death Bill has been codified into law, Krasnov doesn't need Congress.

Should have taken a stand in March, now Democrats are limited to fighting for Obamacare reimbursements.

Willingness and ability to rescind funding demonstrates that legislative compromise is dead.

Republicans will just go back and repeal funding for anything they didn't like when they pretended to compromise in order to pass appropriations for it in the first place.

Trust is broken. The system is broken. And Republicans broke it.

No honor left. Flipping Congress to Democratic control is the only answer.
