Are there enough thinking Americans that understand that Republicans are the problem?

That they are leading us down a road to destruction?

We cannot fix our country until we fix the political problem. The "problem" is the Republican Party writ large. This includes the MAGA, the so-called moderates, every single Republican is to blame. They cannot stick their heads in the sand and pretend they had nothing to do with the fall of our democracy. They cannot plead ignorance for following an ignorant demagogue down that road.

Every Republican should understand that they cannot escape responsibility, and they cannot joke or laugh off the situation, that they will soon embrace.

1. "Someone heard Stevenson's impressive speech and said, "Every thinking person in America will be voting for you."

Stevenson replied, “I’m afraid that won’t do—I need a majority.”

So... no.

2. Unfortunately. 45 to 50% of voters don't believe GOPers are the problem overall. Hope that changes next Nov.

3. I think the real problem is big money in our electoral process. It's a for-profit industry now.

I'm not saying no one should profit in hall rentals & campaign merch, but the amount spent on our elections is obscene. And the length of the presidential campaign season is insane! We'll have a brief period after the midterms next year when no one campaigns & then after the new year, all bets are off. Or on, rather. Tons & tons of money will be spent & exchanged in the contest for president. Obscene barely describes it. The best democracy money can buy. I saw that on a bumper sticker.
