The election for Governor in New Jersey and Virginia are big deals. The polling seems OK for us and the early voting numbers are positive in both states.
However, do any DUers in the area have some first hand accounts of the campaigns and any predictions?

Spanberger had a strong lead and is trying to build it by visiting red towns. Hashmi (lt Gov) has run several ads and has avoided controversies. Jay Jones is running lots of ads presenting himself as calm and reasonable. Polls still give them an edge.
People just need to get out and vote especially in NoVA, the college towns , Richmond and Tidewater.

(28,549 posts)Which is great - but there are also four other polls showing 1-3 point leads. The rolling average was three points IIRC
The problem here isnt just the narrowing range
but four years ago the polls showed an eight point deficit for Cittarreli and we ended up winning by less than three points.
