Yes, stuff can be depressing.
I was low energy the other day (not sure why, but a heat wave and other things weren't helping) and honestly, only checked my own posts that day.
I can't keep up with your musical posts. So I'll latch on to one in the rare now and then.
Try to just enjoy the music!! That's not to ignore current events. My daughter and SIL visited briefly to pick up her pup. He was pretty well-behaved and ran into no tarantulas or other beasts. He did stop and sense a king snake nearby. I read that they excrete something to help them slither. Non-venomous, and hopefully help in the war on rodents, specifically, their war on the home. I've been winning that, but I sure have better things to do with the time.
Mother nature heard my call for help.
My daughter played a tiny bit of keyboard. Hers is under her bed (it's a tiny condo) and I urged her to use it. The last time I visited there to house-sit, I couldn't find it to extricate it from its "wherever" spot.
Take care of yourself. Composers and artists put in countless hours to make beautiful music. Let it help you.
I am not quite so eclectic, since I really need to focus on pieces that I intend to master, but I do listen a lot.
I sometimes get decent FM reception from the Sacramento State repeater, but mostly, use internet radio stations.
Favorites are KUSC, WQXR, WBJC, and WDAV - Davidson. And Sean Bianco's "At the Opera" broadcasts on live365.
But not all day.
RARELY, YouTube videos. Unless they're embedded in a post, they come with dreadful ads.
