LOS ANGELES (Spurious News Network) -- The White House is celebrating the release of the new "Superman" movie by releasing their own movie poster.
Starting with the poster of Superman flying upward, the White House poster replaces actor David Corenswet's head with King Donald Trump's, the phrase "A James Gunn Film" with "A Trump Presidency," and the film's motto "Look Up" with Superman's traditional tagline "truth, justice and the American Way." The modified poster was released on X.
This morning, Superman studio Warner Bros. Pictures filed suit in California seeking the immediate removal of the altered poster from X, a public apology and damages in the sum of $293.51, plus reasonable attorneys' fees.
"We're not all that offended by the picture," said Warner Bros. attorney Lois Lane, the litigator of record for the case. "It's the inscription we're pissed off about. Truth, justice and the American Way? We're talking about Donald Trump, the most corrupt dictator since (Nigerian strongman) Sani Abacha and a god-damned communist besides. Those words shouldn't ever be associated with Trump."
When asked about the unusual request for damages, Ms. Lane smiled. "We wanted to do something that'd really hurt him. That amount represents forty-seven Big Macs he won't get to eat."
In further news, Nigerian president Bola Tinubu responded to King Donald's demand that Nigeria accept Central American and South American citizens who illegally entered the United States and were captured by Trump's Immigration and Customs Enforcement goons. "We'd be more than happy to exchange them for 419 scammers on a one-to-one basis," President Tinubu said. "It's a win-win offer; Nigeria benefits because we'll trade Nigeria's worst embarrassments for a lot of really nice people, and Trump benefits because their skills and experience will take Trump's fundraising operations to the next level." A release from the White House indicates Trump is considering it.
