She just revealed that she never voted for trump in a new memoir, according to Kyle Griffin on bluesky. He quotes her as saying "I never let Donald Trump get to me. I never voted for him and I ignored his threats." She says Trump's election in 2016 "hastened a historic decline in the institutions of American justice."
And yet....she will vote for this horrendous bill even though she "never let Donald Trump get to me." If that's true, why is she voting for it?
I have no respect for this person.

(110,794 posts)--the music itself. Almost as good (I'm told) as a psychoactive "product" immersion.
I know Roger Waters has gone over the deep end vis-a-vis the ME now, but his righteous anger toward government and the ultra wealthy destroying the masses (including the music industry) plays well today. Oh, and if you like to watch YouTube videos, there are several Gen-Zers posting first-ever impressions, including some current composer/record producers (who apparently are musically trained but know nothing prior to 2000). Those are quite intriguing to me. Both funny and sometimes illuminating as they listened to "Dark Side of the Moon," "Wish You Were Here," "The Wall" (the latter really baffled them), "Animals" (some of the more enlightened actually started to catch on to that one). Apparently, Gen-Z generally has no understanding of "concept" albums and has never heard of "Rock Operas," much less albums that are an "experience," rather than a bunch of discordant commercial pop music selections.
Anyway, a very nice break from too much "news."
