I believe that as a country we have finally descended into such a state of moribund stupidity that it just may be terminal.
I don’t say this lightly and hope I’m wrong, but the last decade has really changed everything that I ever believed about the US.
The lack of, and maybe just the inability to, apply critical thinking skills and weigh simple cause/effect scenarios by the general public is shocking.
Adding to that the acceptance of hateful rhetoric and actions by so many citizens is just grotesque .
