A lawmaker and her husband were murdered. A senator and his wife nearly killed.
The suspect had a hit list.
And what did we do?
We blamed each other. We justified. We spun.

Political violence isn’t coming—it’s here. And we’re normalizing it.

This wasn’t random. It wasn’t senseless. It was intentional. And it should have been a moment that froze us in our tracks—a moment of shared grief, outrage, and resolve.

But instead, what did we do?

We opened our apps and jumped into the spin cycle.
We pointed fingers before the facts were in.
We went looking for blame, not truth.

Elon Musk immediately blamed “the far left.”
Donald Trump said he might call the governor of the state—then, almost reflexively, turned around and called that same governor “grossly incompetent.”

It was the same broken instinct we’ve seen before.
When Trump survived an assassination attempt last year, voices on the left instantly claimed it was staged. Not because they had proof—but because it was useful.

Since the J6 committee I have grown to like Kinzinger. However his both sides take on this is wrong, dead wrong.

Just little old me . . . that some of these "both sides" people are afraid of the silent left. They can't see what we are doing, don't understand our motivation for laying in wait.

3. To me this is so damn simple

Ok I hate Donald Trump and while the guy who tried to kill Trump maybe was more apolitical in killing ANY politician (he was said to have Biden's schedule) lets just say for instance that he WAS a Liberal and wanted to murder Trump.

I immediately would disavow him and say you are not welcomed in the Democratic Party. That's not how we win. Pretty fucking simple. It doesn't make every single Democrat look bad if we just do that. One horrible guy.

But what are Republicans doing? Trying to say he was a Liberal (snicker) and are even joking about and mocking the assassinations. Greene posting a picture of her with a gun not long after the murders, Mike Lee doing his vile comedic act. It shows what lowlife scum these people are becoming.

When a Democrat openly jokes about a murder of a Republican give me a call.
