https://www.commondreams.org/news/sanders-warren-senate-fight-clubAngered by the Democratic leaderships fecklessness and lack of a bold vision for the future, a group of senators including Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has formed an alliance to push back on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and the partys campaign arm ahead of next years critical midterm elections.

I think Murphy would make a great majority leader, except I expect him to run for president in 2028 (which means he will start his campaign in 2027), so my second choice would be either Warren or one of the Oregon Senators, Wyden or Merkey, if they want the job.
Glad there is some pushback from the Dems willing to fight.
