Most Americans don't want an impeachment, they want him charged with treason!

He should already be in prison for the treason he committed during his first term, but now we can add human rights abuses and war crimes to the charges.

I've often said, in various threads here, that if breathing required intelligent thought and the ability to make good decisions, a whole lot of Americans would be in big trouble while trying to figure out whether to breathe in first or out first.

Assuming we flip the House in ‘26 but fail to get a good sized majority in the Senate (54+ in order to have a chance of a bipartisan conviction) impeachment is a waste of time and will be seen so by the public. He’s been impeached twice. Once more does nothing but hand the Republicans a talking point and take the focus off all of the MAGA policies that hurt ordinary people.

Mamdani won on affordability and other kitchen table issues. We need to do the same on the national level and not get drawn into exciting side shows. Trump is actually much better at directing a circus than National Dems. We need to stay away from that.

Because it will require his "own people" to join in to do it. It will show Trump and the world that we have returned to some semblance of sanity and that the system really works. I want Trump to be told to his face that he is the biggest loser ever. I want him humiliated in the court of public opinion. Without him the entire administration will be a lame duck until the 2028 and will not be able to do any further harm. Who knows, we might be able to undo some of the damage before a Democrat is sworn in as President on 1/20/29.

The new President's first appointment will be a new junk yard dog Attorney General (think Jack Smith). Then the indictments of Trump for a massive number of crimes can begin. Of course the AG will also sweep up virtually the entire current administration. Then we can hold public trials, starting with Trump which will result in the rest of his days being stuck in jail with no cell phone. And very soon there after his sycophants will join him.

American pit bull ,or so I've read.

I once heard that bull dogs were bred with short snouts so they could bite their prey, and hold them
steady,while breathing all the while.

With all the s.o.b.s in Congress and Senate, are they all affected with COPD..or spinal degeneration?

Lots of bull, and pitiful ,at best.

True.

They also don’t know that Trump is immune from criminal prosecution, that impeachment is the only process available to remove Trump, thanks to the Trump court.

The immunity described in Trump does not only protect a President from criminal prosecution. The majority opinion also insulates a President from indictment and, according to a majority of five Justices, prevents a jury from considering "official act" evidence even when pursuing allegations of "unofficial" criminal wrongdoing. A prosecutor is therefore barred from using evidence of official acts in prosecuting unofficial acts—meaning that the Trump opinion's "official act" immunity may also make it more difficult for prosecutors to seek accountability for otherwise unprotected unofficial acts.’

Part of country is just fine with all the horror he and his goons have done.

If it wasn't for fear of military and Supreme Court backing them up many would have already stood up. Many dems have guns but I would bet more republicans do and many dems hate guns and have none nor will fight.

Watching revolutionary war documentary last few days the passive people that refused to fight for either side got killed quickly by both sides.

Given that, I think it would be a lot easier to get him locked up - which is the ultimate end goal - if we were able to prove he's a pedophile to the degree necessary for conviction. While Trump is a traitor, treason is the hardest offense to charge and to convict on. Child molestation is way too easy to convict.

... or any other charge. It means we have to try them all together and it would take forever. Their corrupt, cringe-y lawyers would drag it out to infinity and nothing would ever be decided. Meanwhile this country is literally falling apart. We don't have the time that it would take to charge them all, prepare for one huge-ass trial and and then try them all.

Let's stick with the head traitor and concentrate on getting rid of him first. Most of the others will crawl away while Chump faces the judgment of the country (and the world) anyway. The ones who don't can be dealt with later.

He’s a traitor and I’d love to see him charged with treason, but it’s not going to happen. If he sees that he’s irretrievably going down, then he’ll either literally or figuaratively blow up the country or he’ll make a deal with Congress to leave with a pardon and a shitload of cash. The rest of his family may not be so lucky. I hope that they and the Congressional traitors and with luck the conspiratorial billionaires experience the justice that Trump should have received a long time ago.
