(5,996 posts)12. Snopes (and others) says this is a fake Trump post
Did Trump share post calling World Series 'rigged'?
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-world-series-post/
The purported Truth Social post also said the president wouldn't invite the winning team to the White House.
We found no evidence on Trump's social media accounts of him ever having made the above post....given that it is a clearly doctored screenshot of a TruthSocial post, we rate this claim as fake.

He figured out how hated he is outside his sychophantic bubble.
Golden State Warriors (NBA - 2017 and 2018): After winning the 2017 NBA championship, several players, including Stephen Curry, indicated they did not want to visit. In response, President Trump publicly withdrew the invitation via a tweet. No invitation was extended after their 2018 win either.
Philadelphia Eagles (NFL - 2018): After their Super Bowl victory, a large number of players stated they would not attend the traditional White House ceremony due to ongoing disputes with Trump over national anthem protests. The president subsequently canceled the event less than 24 hours before it was to occur, and instead held a different ceremony for fans.
North Carolina Tar Heels (NCAA Men's Basketball - 2017): The team cited "scheduling conflicts" in declining their invitation, though head coach Roy Williams had been publicly critical of Trump.
Notable individual absences
New England Patriots (NFL - 2017): While the team attended, a handful of players, including Tom Brady (citing personal reasons), skipped the visit.
Boston Red Sox (MLB - 2018): Manager Alex Cora, from Puerto Rico, and several players of color, including Mookie Betts, did not attend the ceremony, with Cora citing his discomfort with the administration's response to Hurricane Maria.
Washington Capitals (NHL - 2018): The team visited, but several players, including goalie Braden Holtby, did not attend due to personal values and political disagreements.
